Very Berry Frozen Yogurt Treats
Full of calcium and protein, yogurt is an excellent healthy snack for dogs. Berries provide beneficial antioxidants to your dog's body, so why not create a berry yogurt treat? Perfect for summer, your dog will go crazy for these frozen yogurt treats. You most likely already have everything you need to make these in your kitchen. Just a few ingredients and 10 minutes is all you need for this yummy summer treat.
What you'll need:
- 1 Cup- Plain Yogurt
- About 10 - Diced Strawberries
- About 20 - Whole Blueberries
- Ice Cube Tray or Silicone Treat Mold
Start off by rinsing your fresh fruit.
Next, dice up the strawberries into very small pieces. Get a small amount of blueberries and strawberries and layer them in the bottom of your mold. The bottom doesn’t need to be completely covered, there can be some gaps. Once you’ve used up all your berries, layer the plain yogurt on top.
You can add some berries on top of the yogurt as well for an extra layer! Place your treat mold into the freezer for about 2 hours. These treats can be left in the freezer for up to 3 months
