Frozen PB, Banana, Coconut Treats
This frozen treat is packed with healthy benefits for your pup! Peanut butter is full of protein, healthy fats, and fiber. Coconut oil contains many fatty acids that are excellent for your dog's skin and coat. Bananas are loaded with vitamin B6, vitamin C, fiber and potassium. The best part? Your dog will go nuts for these treats!
What you'll need:
- Silicone Mold
- Blender
- 1 Cup Melted Coconut Oil
- 1 Small Banana
- 2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter
- 1/4 Cup Frozen or Fresh Strawberries (optional)
Melt your coconut oil by either placing the whole jar in a bowl of hot water or popping your measured oil into the microwave for a few seconds.
Next, you can cut the banana into small slices so it is easier to blend.
Add the melted coconut oil, peanut butter, and fruit into your blender and blend until smooth.
Pour your mixture into the silicone mold and leave in the freezer for 6 hours, or overnight.
These treats can be stored in the freezer in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
